What is Onda?
Onda is an app for finding events, sport and nightlife in Tenerife. It puts plans from communities, bars, clubs and organisers on one map, shows the live vibe at each place and lets you join with a single tap.
What is the live vibe?
Reports from people who are there: whether it’s packed, whether there’s a queue, what music is on. A report starts as unconfirmed and becomes confirmed once others back it up. It expires after 90 minutes, and free text is reviewed before it goes public.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse or to join as a guest. An account gives you reminders, chats and lets you create your own plans.
Does Onda replace our WhatsApp group?
No, it adds to it. You create the plan once and share the link in your groups. Whoever opens it sees place, time and who’s going, and can join right away.
I run a bar or club. How do I get on Onda?
Through the Business app: find your venue, claim it with proof such as your website or Instagram account, and once it’s reviewed you manage your events yourself. You can already try this in the prototype.
Which languages is Onda in?
Spanish, English and German. More languages are planned.
Is Onda finished?
No. This is a prototype. The places, times and plans you see in the demo are examples.
