Cookies and storage

October 31, 2026 · Version 0.1.0

Onda only stores on your device what it needs to work. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, or third-party tools that follow you across other sites.

1. What this is about

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. There are also other forms of storage on the device, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage), the app cache (service worker) or the push notification subscription. This page explains everything Onda stores, whether it is a cookie or not.

2. In the Onda apps

Everything below is technically necessary for a service you have requested (Article 22(2) LSSI) and therefore does not require consent:

Name (function) Type Purpose Duration
Session First-party cookie, only for this app, protected (HttpOnly, Secure) Keeping you logged in 30 days, renewed when you use the app; deleted when you log out
Language localStorage Remembering the language you chose Until you change it or clear the data
Guest code localStorage Recognising your RSVPs without an account Until you delete it; on the server it expires after 90 days without use
Filters and view localStorage Remembering area, categories and view (map or list) Until you change it or clear the data
App cache Service worker Making the app load fast and work offline; only app files and your own tickets Until the next version of the app
Push subscription Browser Receiving notifications, only if you allow them Until you withdraw permission

The user, business and admin apps use separate sessions: a session in one does not give you access to the others.

The map downloads images (tiles) from OpenFreeMap; this does not store cookies but does transmit your IP address (see the Privacy policy, section 2.15).

3. On the website

Category What it includes Consent?
Necessary Your choice about external content and language (localStorage) No, they are necessary
External content Embedded maps or videos from pending: externe inhalte anbieter. They only load after you click; when they load, the provider receives your IP address and may use its own cookies Yes, with a click, for each item or for all
Security check Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form. It only loads once you tick the consent box; Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical browser data, not what you type (see Privacy policy, section 2.18) Loads with the box in the form, never before

There is no marketing category. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. We store your choice for 12 months.

4. How to delete it

You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you do, you will be logged out and, if you joined without an account, Onda will no longer recognise your RSVPs on that device.

5. Changes

If we ever wanted to use anything that is not technically necessary, we would ask for your consent first and update this page.
